Been to Burning Man before? When?
Yes, it's my second year. Last year I was with the dirty beetles - they'll be our neighbors this year! Come visit, i'll be there playing live music noon - 3pm there.

Why Burning Man and PolyParadise?
The energy and love of the people, the art, and participation of events is unlike anything I have experienced anywhere in the world. I decided this year to camp with a new unknown camp. I have been in polyamorous relationships for most of my life, and even though I am not actively practicing it currently with my love Xinran (who is also camping with us!), the open-minded spirit of the camp and the human carcass wash struck a nerve with me!

What I do in the default world:
I work as a neuroscientist studying consciousness at Caltech in Pasadena, CA. I'll be giving a talk on the metamorphosis of consciousness at Transformation Station (8:15 and Hyacinth) on Thursday 1-3 pm, if you're interested in hearing about it! I also play keys in a psychedelic rock band (Serotonal) and a classic rock band (Sunshine and The Deep Jams). I like doing improv and recently co-directed a fully improvised musical.
