Anomalous Duo (T&A)

We are AleXander and Tammy, The Anomalous Duo; partners in life and art - queer in so many ways – back on the playa to yet again Renew our Wows!

AleXander sez:
Burning Man #12 coming up – 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017, 2018… Eleven with Poly Paradise, one with Greeters.

This will be my seventh time to contribute artwork to the Center Camp Café Kiosk.

Tammy collaborated on the last four with related short stories, printed in small booklets to share.

Tammy sez:
Burning Man #6 coming up – 2011, 2012, 2103, 2014, 2017, 2018 - all with Poly Paradise.

2017 was our first year back after a two year hiatus and we made several changes that enhanced the experience tremendously. I switched from riding a bike to (following the lead of the incredible Miss Bunny) riding a trike and what a difference! My worries that it would be hard to pedal or control were entirely allayed the minute I hit the playa on that baby. That and sleeping on a warm, comfy futon instead of a steadily deflating air mattress have added exponentially to the pleasures of TTITD.

We’ve participated as Greeters and Lamplighters and will look for new ways to engage this year.

It’s a long, complicated haul from New York City. Black Rock City remains our other favorite metropolis, with its amazing 70,000+ creative and open souls. The traffic jams here are so much more interesting.
