Camper Bios - 2016
Margot
– Miss Bunny
Where do you call home?
Sacramento, Bay Area and BRC
Been to Burning Man before? When?
(2006-2008, 2010, 2013-15)
Camped with PolyParadise Before?
Yes! (2010, 2013-2015)
Why Burning Man? – Why not? Je ne regrette rien and it is home after all.
Volunteer on the Playa? – My spiritual side at Burning Man is enhanced by volunteering as a Temple Guardian, one of the humblest and most deeply moving experiences of my life. To watch the sun come up through from inside the ornately carved facade of the Temple is indescribable. The exuberant side is welcoming others home with other Greeters; seeing dust angels, exchanging hugs and excitement at the magic ahead…a great way to give back.
PolyParadise Favorite Moments – Reuniting with PP buddies again and catching up after months, a year or more, watching our Village grow as more Burners arrive, and sharing cooking experiences in our amazing kitchen.
Toughest thing: Let’s face it: the playa can be cruel with weather, other Burner bad vibes or the ever-present Law Enforcement
Best thing: The happy feeling knowing I’m home again on the playa.
Burning Man Advice: Welcome everyone with your heart. May your heart be so opened, so set on fire, that your love changes everything. You will never be the same.
