Burn History:
- While at a Barn Dance in way north Washington state, a new friend convinced us we had to check out BM. So we found tickets on Craigslist 1 month before and ...

- 2013 we drove in knowing no one other than our friend that never left the sound crew at Center Camp. We pulled in to an open space late at night that first Sunday. Thunder Jesus was on one side, Mr. Bubbles on the other. We all hungout throughout the week and watched the man burn together. It was on Tuesday morning that I already knew I was coming back next year, for sure
- Post-burn we started telling everyone we knew about the magic of BM. Most of them told us to shut up. Decompression was especially hard that year.

- 2014 we decided to try camping with PP and found our home within home. I for one will never camp anywhere else within BRC & I knew this day 2
- We brought 2 folks with us via the BM ride share page, and Eyal from Israel camped w/ us in PP and also loved it.

- Bubbles decided to camp down the street, and brought Cindy and Patrick for their first burn. It didn't take long after visiting us at PP they realized their mistake lol
- 2015 our daughter Angy, son-in-law Mario & good friend Tom joined with us camping at PP for their first burn !!! Madness ensued
- Thunder Jesus, Bubbles, Cindy and Patrick also camped with us for their first time at PP and loved it!

- 2016 our son Donoven is joining us for his first burn, celebrating his 21st birthday & of course, camping at PP!

Volunteers with: Black Rock Rangers. 2016 will be my 2nd year as a ranger. It's been a real joy working with a group of folks that is focused on mediation and serving the community. The first rule on the art of Rangering is ... 'Do nothing'. The second rule is ... private to Rangers, sorry ;)

Toughest thing about BM: The other 51 weeks of the year

Best thing: Cooking in community within the kitchen of PolyParadise. I make more friends this way usually than any other

Why Burning Man?: Because it restores my ever dwindling faith in humanity, year after year. It shows us how to build community, open our true selves up to the wider world. In short, participation in this event gives us a glimpse of a better way of being. What we do with this knowledge and how we use it, that is the challenge before us friends.
