Been to Burning Man before? When? (2014 - 2015)

Camped with PolyParadise Before? (2014)

Volunteer on the Playa? –2014: Virgin year, loading van, assisting in setup, learning along the way, in complete awe most of the time, an open ear, heart, and arms, cook/kitchen sanitation daily.)

2015: Original art 4’x3’ ‘Warrior Within’ on display entire week at Center Camp café kiosk; 8’x8’ Center Camp exterior mural space for all to partake, design based on an original piece inspired by my virgin year, however, we can throw that all out the window and do an original collaborative piece as a camp, open to participation, and ideas! Do my best to secure a mural spot every year so we can have a poly mural to share and experience. To paint, on the playa, and share/exchange with all the wonderful souls, and art all about, well, for me, this is the purest bliss I could imagine) Plan to assist Wildchild in Greeting this year! Plan to assist Ethan with the Farmers Market this year.

PolyParadise Favorite Moments – Setting up, a great workout. Tearing down, an emotional workout. Bacon, trash can pizza, (the ewoke village feeling of it all), sitting in common space, talking, relaxing, no agenda, with newly made friends who feel like family instantly.

Best Thing: Finally finding your tribe. True interaction, acknowledgement, and celebration of each soul beyond and outside any social norms, time, or standards of our current space. Snippets of passing by conversations (honestly, I still laugh, these things I have seen and heard, magical).

Burning Man Advise: Be ready to feel completely healthy, all body pains disappeared there for us. Just let go! Prepare yourself for smiles, EYE contact, lovely ladies singing good morning, people who walk and bike ride the streets via wonderful collective consciousness, truly amazing! Happiness is RIGHT there, every second, every day.

This is how life is in the moment. You WILL be forever changed, you will fall in love with your life again, the citizens, event, way of being, and, most importantly, way of thinking with this freedom, support, and downright encouragement to be yourself, from such a rather large subgroup, personal reevaluation occurs sparking grand things, things you always wanted to do. The real joy is the raw, pure, stripped version of ourselves, leaving behind any learned societal instilled behavior.

Be ready to have your mind blown, and like it. We hug, hug as much as you can. When meeting another soul, take the time to really see them, slow down, notice their eye color, say their name a few times somehow when meeting, really experience them, and thus, in turn, they experience you. That meeting, is the fruit of this life. Drink lots more H2O than alcohol. Sunscreen. Bikes, for us, are a must.
