Camper Bios - 2014
Hi
everyone,
I'm Ellen and I'm a BM Virgin. This was a last minute decision to go when friends invited me. I had no clue what I was signing up for except that this is something everyone needs to experience on their own.
I'm trying to do my homework - read the survival guide, the PP website, watch the fuze meeting for newbies and of course study the packing list.
I'm starting to get a sense of what awaits me (rationally speaking) and know that until I'm there, experiencing it, I'll not truly "get it". Just today (8/16) I started fantasizing about all the fun I might have there.
I've signed up for some food participation and the HCW. I'm happy to help out with other stuff wherever needed so don't hesitate to ask me.
When not cramming for BM, I work in tech (selling software), serve on a non-profit board that deals with juvenile justice, cycle (road), hike and try to be mindful and compassionate.
Looking forward to celebrating and making lots of new friends. See you on the Playa!
Ellen
