PolyParadise 2009, 2010, 2011

PolyParadise Favorite Moments? Helping build the camp with the Early Arrival Team and staying over a couple days for MOOP patrol are favorite moments for sure. Last year was the first year I made it out to the 12:00 extreme point of the trash fence. Its a whole new world out there and I want to make that a tradition.

Why Burning Man? Burning Man is the only escape from the default world that can truly be a complete escape. Hoping the recently growing number of attendees who try to bring the politics, social culture and drama of the outside world to BM can leave it "out there".

Burning History: I heard about Burning Man over 13 years ago and followed the accounts of an astro-artist named Don Davis as he wrote about his yearly experiences. I wanted to go from the first time I heard of it but didn't get the opportunity until 2008. This is my 5th burn going on 1st.

Describe BM:
It is as impossible to describe as to believe. In a Great Paradox, our collective inner child creates Burning Man and it, in turn, re-creates us. I love Burning Man, I love the playa, I love the people, I love it all. Especially sharing it with my Shadow.

My Life: I've always worked in a job and loved in a family where the seriousness of responsibilities mentally aged me on the outside - but not on the inside. Finding Burning Man I found a playground for my mind to shed its suit of armor, be free, and play.
Burning Man is a "Before and After" Life Marker for me, more so than marriage, first child or even first Lindor chocolate truffle.

I'm a little hard to get to know but have been told I'm a pretty nice guy by those who finally do. Did I mention I love BM. I love all of it and you too.
