Why Burning Man? – It is a place to
escape mundane woes and cares and find a completely
different set of experiences, feelings, and challenges.
Here it is brought into high relief that you never step
in the same river twice -- impermanence and dynamism is
embraced in Black Rock City as it is eschewed in the
default world. And it is wonderful to see and join in
all the hugging.
Who I Am - I am a walking --
contradiction? frustration? tragedy? I am a quality
engineer who can't work, a dancer who can't dance, a
bisexual person with no same-sex partners (and hardly
any partners at all), a conceptual hedonist but with
blunted feeling, a singer with no one to sing with or
to.
Toughest Thing - Accepting myself and
the world as they are, realizing that only then can I
harness my power to change them.
Best Thing - Letting it sink into my
bones that there is nothing -- NOTHING -- that I have to
do, so I can just relax, and really letting in all the
positive feelings that are directed towards me
Burning Man Advice - Just let yourself
_be_. And just let others _be_, as well -- you and they
are all wonderful people, and wonderful things can be
counted on to happen when you are together, Don't push
it.
