Where do you call home?
Costa Rica, but I live in Port Angeles, Wash
Been to Burning Man before? When?
'03, '04, '05, '011
Camped with PolyParadise Before?
In '03 I camped with emo men from Vancouver, then discovered
the Human Carcass Wash, and have camped with PP ever since.
Why Burning Man?
– Wow... I think the best answer to that
question is that it gives me hope. Hope that I'm really OK,
and hope that I may find my place in this world. It truly is
“Home”. I've always lived in small towns, and started out in
Utah. So, as you can see, BRC is quite a break for me from the
“de-fuckin-fault world”.
Who I Am - Musician, teacher
(young kids playing strings), confused, lost. C.S. Lewis
writes that he “discovered” he was a christian after fighting it for
years. My intro to polyamory was exactly the same thing.
It wasn't thought out, or studied. But when I learned about it
I discovered that that was exactly how I WAS living my life.
Somehow having a name made it less “wierd”.
Toughest Thing
- changing your own default world. It's all in our minds, and
we know that. So, how do we make it really happen.
Best Thing -
Hugs, trust.
Burning Man Advice
- Come to BRC “empty”. There is no “right” or even “better”
experience, and you will only miss opportunities by pursuing them.
